    I'm sure the person following you living into that house won't appreciate you removing a roof aerial!
    It'll cost almost as much to remove as it does to have fitted, unless you plan on clambering up the roof to take it down yourself.
    If you have a new aerial fitted, I'd consider it a cost not recoverable.
