If both parties have got MSN or a similar client, you can usually use that to send files, although you may want to break it down into smaller parts (so if the connection drops you don't have to restart from scratch).
Various of my friends have been doing that for years with various files as most email providers have something like a 10MB attachment limit, and often quite small inbox limits.0 -
Both Gmail and Yahoo now offer 25MB limits-obviously too small for the OP.No free lunch, and no free laptop
