in Water bills
Hi all, first time posting so be gentle.
My neighbour and I both live in 1 half of a semi detached house that we own, his water waste joins my waste in my front drive. Then one main pipe goes from here, back under his garden under a wall then the council path, about 5 foot of grass then into a drain on the road.
Now last year the neighbour and I both paid 2000 each to have the existing garden wall rebuilt with new bricks etc....and the pipe mentioned above goes under the foundations for this wall
Having come home today, it look fairly obvious the the drain, road side of the wall has collapsed, as the path has dropped about a foot and a half. Looks like the foundations on the wall have cracked in half as has the neighbours entire half of the wall, and about 3 foot of my wall
Anglian water will I would have thought have to remove the wall to repair the drain, and even if they repair without wall removal , the wall is wrecked, it can't be saved, it need removing and rebuilding,
I have called Anglian water and they are comming tomorrow, but what about the wall. Any tips

Did you put in new foundations for the wall when it was rebuilt, or did you build on the old ones?British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0

We built on the old ones, their was nothing wrong with them , just to be clear, the wall is exactly the same size as the one we removed, and the collapsed drain is under the wall, but also 2 foot towards the road0
