just one thing mite be silly put have you got any firewalls on your pc that are for vista and are not vista's own firewall, you can try turning them off ,any thing like mcafee ,norton .
just that i am us pc tools firewall and it some times stops vista talking to the router so vista say there is no internet or limited and the adapter needs restartingthere or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff0 -
when you do the renew
and then the ipconfig, does your router issue you with a 10. ip address?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
See if this helps:
1. start, search, cmd
2. right click on cmd, run as admin
3. in the black box, type:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=disabled
4. reboot
If it makes no difference, you can reverse it by doing the above steps again but typing:
netsh interface tcp set global autotuning=normal
