Call Serve - It won't let me pay!

Hi
I have signed up to callserve as I'm temporarily living overseas and want to make cheap calls home.
I'e downloaded the software, but it won't let me buy credits!!!
Every time I try to go to the payment page it says takes me to the help page where it explains you can't recharge in 24 hours. I've never been able to buy credits.
Can anyone help? I have contacted their customer services but get a standard not helpful response.
