My son has an iphone with 02.
He has gone travelling and has been away for over six months, we are tied into the contract until it ends in around March, if he decides not to return by March we want to be able to cancel the payments, so need to get into his account.
He gave me the login details and I have put them in wrongly.
I can ask them to send me new password etc., however, I will have to ask my son to put his 02 sim back in so they can send details to the registered number.
Putting the Sim back in isnt a problem, but if he has 100's of txt messages that have been sent while he has been out of UK I am worried that he will suddenly have to pay for receiving all those just to see the one txt from 02.
Is there any other way of getting the info I need without the possibility of it costing a fortune?
Thanks

I have a UK sim card and live outside UK,if I have been in UK and forget to take the UK sim card out when I get home, I get charged for the texts.0

That is very unusual. What mobile company are you with?0

O2 definitely do not charge for receiving texts abroad, just for sending.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0

This is anecdotal and does not apply to 02.

And also cancel the contract. As stopping the payments will not cease the contract. What it may do is cause o2 to block the phone.
Why can he not do this himself? I-Phone has wi-fi access and easy access to his account.
