This happens from time to time with me.i can sign in to my ebay account with no trouble, but when i go to sell an item it asks me to sign in again and then wont accept my password!! has anyone any ideas what is wrong?
The only 'solution' that I have found is to reboot my computer.
It is then ok... until the next time.
Have you thought about asking on the ebay board?0 -
Also, this sometimes happens on my dads computer, and I get around it by using a different browser.
See if it happens on firefox or chrome or IE out of interest...0 -
Are you signing in automatically, with auto fill of user name and password (that is what I do) and then manually entering the password when asked to sign in again?i can sign in to my ebay account with no trouble, but when i go to sell an item it asks me to sign in again and then wont accept my password!! has anyone any ideas what is wrong?
Perhaps you have somehow changed your password or are misremembering it and the manually entered password is incorrect.0 -
I had this exact same problem yesterday.
I deleted all cookies, cleared all browser history and it made no difference. I was getting soooo frustrated with it !! I ended up getting the missus to use her account to sell.
I've tried it again today and it's working fine.
I have no idea at all why this happened.
I was (and still am) using IE9, and the missus is using chrome. I don't think it's browser related, and suspect it may have been an eBay issue as I've done nothing to fix it, and it's working again.0 -
Happened to me today.
Normally a PC clean works - but needed another browser today.0
