  • Are they comfortable? if so, maybe you could cheer them up with some brighter throws and cushion covers from Primark (or home made if you're a crafter)?

    I do understand your frustration though.

    Is it a case of just getting used to them, would chucking a couple of throws over them help.

    OP feels bad enough to start withand realises her error without other OPs rubbing her nose in it.

    It might be worth seeing if they'll agree a refund minus a bit for their trouble - to make them feel you're not just trying to mess them about. :)

    Either do this or politely ask if you can swap them for 1 you actually like.

    I would give the shop a call anyway to ask if they would consider an exchange as a gesture of goodwill even though you know its not their policy - the worst you'll get is 'no'.
