You wont get anything from the message headers if its a smart scam as they'll just be using a transparent nym server. Hell, even Gmail will obfuscate the X-originating-IP header enough to make any tracing useless.

You are correct with Gmail however I have been involved with scammers for several years and never met 1 that knows anything about iptracking.

Scammers generally use cyber caf! pc's not there own too.

I see no difference with this scammer who is using an live.co.uk email address. I cannot ip track that as the op is finding it difficult to forward the original email. No worries there ive applied for a loan!
All the big powers they've silenced me. So much for free speech and choice on this fundamental human right, and outing the liars.

    listed as a dissolved company?
  • The money wasn't taken as a direct debit it was an online transaction!!!!! this puzzles me too...it has now been disabled, the only 1 thing the bank can be bothered to do to help
  • When you apply for a loan or any form of credit, you fill in a form with all your personal details. This includes bank details. Some loan brokers ask for card details including the ccv (last three numbers on the back). The problem is that these loan brokers are unscrupulous, your details go to what is called a "Loan Portal", it gives access to any organisation that subscribes to it. Therefore even if the internet path to the loan portal is secure, access to your information is not.It is open to abuse by "Subscribers", and employees of loan companies, and bogus loan providers. Some loan broakers have you fill all the infomation boixes and right at the end suddenly tell you there is a £69.95 adminfee, no fee no loan! Avoid these people even if you are desperate! They will take your money but you will not get your loan.:mad::mad::mad:
