old Fujitsu amilo pro wont connect

Hi I wondered if someone knows how to reconnect above comp to the internet .
I have tried pressing fn and f2f together with no joys.
I bought it second hand so there are no discs.Tia
i came into the world with nothing,and guess what? i still have it!!!:p

  • model will help.....in the past I had an old amilo lappy had to reinstall windows after some major issues

    found wifi wouldnt connect till I had downloaded the driver & installed everything again

    have you entered the wireless password etc

    does the wireless device appear in device manager

    which operating system

    does a wireless light come on

    F9 or F8 at boot may enable you to factory restore it, wiping all data

    Have you added some RAM? Has it already been done?

    256MB RAM is not going to make the cut.

    I'll see if I can find the XP Recovery disc. :) Bit busy at the mo.

    Would appreciate you helping with discs am going to b honest I have no idea how much ram in it and have no idea how too get into anything but I know it fn and f2f to reconnect to wireless
    I don't want to do factory restorer as I don't have any discs to restart it and am a total noon with computer, w/ish I was more techie savvy

    a factory restore puts it back to the way it was when it left the factory, with windows installed.

    So do I do factory restore then press fn and f2 together it should work

    You can try a Factory Restore from the hard drive by rebooting and selecting F8. Instructions here
