unable to view videos on laptop

I have been unable to view all videos (you tube etc) on my laptop. I am using google chrome. have tried IE without success as well. What can i do to rectify this please?

I had the same problem on IE and downloaded Firefox and that worked for me. I was told this was because I had windows 7 64 bit0

Shrimper, sorry but thats rubbish, if its a newish laptop or pc, you will need to download adobe flash player and maybe sun java, you should see a message on youtube telling you that you need to download files to view the videos you need these to be able to view videos and some web pages. They are both free.0
