Hi
Just got a You View box but when i switch over to HDMI input on my TV all i get is a pink screen. Everything is fine when on scart input.
I have tried 3 different HDMI cables in all 3 HDMI ports but still get the pink screen.:(

And you'll need to state if it's a TalkaTalk Huawei box, or either a retail or BT Humax box. And I hope you get it sorted soon...0 -

Graham, have you tried the box on another TV? Just for test purposes of course. It also may be worth checking the resolution (1080i/1080p etc) settings of both the box and the TV, because the HDMI is not performing the digital handshake correctly between the two.0 -

I dont have another TV to try.
The setting on my TV is 1080p and i cant seem to try it on any other setting, the TV is a Bush LCD40FHDA8 if that helps.
Also i dont know how to change any settings on the box as i have had a look and cant find anything either.0 -
I managed to make an old Sharp HDTV work with a Sky HD box by managing to disable the CEC signal wire. Might be worth a go if you enjoy fddling with the connection.
The way I did it was to use a sliver of insulating tape ( I used sellotape ). to insulate Pin 13 of the connector.
Have you emailed your problem to YouView? That gum you like is coming back in style.0
