I'm not being mean. If she's going on maternity leave and coming back then she's not actually leaving. My work does collections for everything, which I give to, but never do a collection for maternity leave. Some flowers and baby gifts are brought when the baby is born, which seems a much better option.Save £200 a month : [STRIKE]Oct[/STRIKE] Nov Dec Jan Feb Mar Apr0 -
We just had a collection for a colleague who left on maternity leave unexpectedly early; so we collected when baby was born. I did the collection but was not impressed by a colleague who seemed to have a lot to say about what she felt was an appropriate gift; and was intent on NOT getting 'something for the baby' ie clothes, but something for the baby's future, eg jewellery.
I felt that if she had such strong feelings she should have organised the collection.

No. There is far too much hypocrisy in this world.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
