Yes accident reported to police. Also already reported to my own insurance company for information purposes, they have acknowledged this being the only reason I have told them and if I wish to claim I need to contact them ASAP.

What is the general consensus on accident management companies like easi-drive etc. I'm just concerned there may be a clause that I end up paying for something?

Leeches and parasites, they are the reason our insurance premiums are higher than they should be.

Certainly even more so when a non fault accident has ocurred and liability is admitted. The road then is smooth enough to deal with it on your own directly with other party's insurance.

    Nuff said.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

As you make few claims, having someone to fight your corner who knows the ropes is a comfort!

In your case where there is also injury to be claimed for then it is almost essential to have an expert working for you.

As long as you don't tell any lies you won't end up with the bill.

Your apparent distain for getting the professionals in is just confusing. In post 8 you advise the op to make a claim off his own insurers. Now you contradict yourself and advise him to claim from the third party insurer.

In view of the injury claim this is bad advice. There is a clear clash of interest by allowing the third Party to deal with this.

The op needs their own representative dealing with the third party!
