Just ordered some, they are my favourite flowers. I have got clay soil and they seem to be the only plants that thrive in my garden and very easy plants. Thanks

I bought from Vanmeuwen before and the stuff always comes beautifully packaged, but it will be just a plugs, small starter plants, probably all 8 in a light green plastic cases with a wee tiny plant pot on each one.
They have always been good healthy plants with the exception of only once and I emailed them and they sent me my money back with no questions asked.
That range of Fuschia will be superb, putting any that I've bought locally to shame.
Thanks for the Daily Mail tip. :)
I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.

Are they trailing ones suitable for baskets?
Do they come back every year?..(not sure what the correct terminology is)

How hardy are these? We planted out some fuschia from B&Q and they got hit by the frosts :o Have gone all shrived and purple!

I assume there wont be much cold weather from now on, but what about autumn/winter time? Shall we dig them out of the borders and put into pots to bring indoors? How hardy will these plants be by then?

Judgeing by the varieties shown, none of these are in the least bit hardy, except in very sheltered areas. Always keep them in until you are VERY sure there won't be a frost. ( We lost about 15 boxes of lizzies to frost on June 8th last year) When you receive them pot them up until about mid/end May and, fingers crossed, the frost will be over. Plant them out and enjoy them. Take cuttings about August/September just to make sure. You could dig them up in the autumn but its likely they'll be rather big for this.
Note:- When you receive plugs of fuchsias even the ones marked hardy will die if planted out to soon.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
