Just a suggestion Cinny, have you considered putting some cards through local doors offering dog walking? A lot of people might be keen to take you up on it when they're at work and you'd get paid for doing something you enjoy anyway. Around here people seem to charge about £4 for a walk.

Is the sofa all paid off now then?

That would be a fun idea, Dinah! But it wouldn't really work around here, it really is a village of dog lovers and everyone finds time for their dogs :) Good idea though! Having to change my morning routine actually, it's too dark in the mornings now so I get an extra hour in bed :j I'll just have to stop dilly dallying, I spend a lot of time sat in the kitchen with a mug of coffee in one hand and tumblr in the other ;)

Oooh no, I'm an out and proud Glee fan! I've watched it since the first series, I absolutely love it :o The worst thing we watched was True Blood, we watched the first series then just gave up. I know it has a massive fan base, but it was just terrible.

The sofa is mentally paid off, but I'm not counting it until I can send OH the money to make the payment. Checking all my direct debits and it seems like it's set up to the new bank, I'm just anxious to move money out of my old account until I have the online banking. I know how silly that probably seems! I know the code is on it's way, it's just starting to bug me now.

Went over my £3.50 spending budget :( it's not like it was life or death, just a little task I massively failed. But we needed some hand soap, and while I was in the shop I noticed they still had the hair dye I use for £1.49 so I grabbed 3 boxes, as well as some hot sauce I normally buy at £2 a bottle for 99p. Damn bargains! It's stuff we use though, so we'll actually notice the savings. Especially when I'm not spending £10 on hair stuff every 6 weeks. Really need to book in at the hairdresser though, the ends of my hair are shocking and it's really starting to bug me!

My Grandad's birthday today :D went to see him before work, so that's the presents dropped off and I'll see him properly on Friday for a catch up. He absolutely hates his birthday, so I didn't want to stay around too long reminding him how old he is ;)

Are the photos on FB, Birdie? I'll go for a nosy if they are!

I love Glee too, no shame in admitting that! I used to watch True Blood on and off but it's just gone beyond stupid now so I've given up on it. Some shows just have to accept that they've only got a couple of series in them and to leave it at that or they just get really bad. Don't they call it 'Jumping the Shark' in America?

I understand you wanting to actually see the money for the sofa gone from your account, will be a great feeling when it is! :)

Can't really blame you for overspending on buying things you'd be needing soon anyway. That's the problem with bargain shops, you've got to buy the stuff when you see it because when you need it, it could be gone! :p

No pics on FB, I only thought to take some pictures of the table once it was set up and quickly snapped the cake before it got demolished. :o I'll have another go at resizing tonight and show you. They're not great snaps sadly, I just forget to document my awesomeness all the time! :o

Happy birthday to your Grandad! :)

The sofa is paid off!! :j:j I got the log in for the new bank account, so I gave my Uncle the new details for my wages. I have left about £35 in my old account, just as a buffer in case the 2 smallest DDs come out of there for some reason. Also opened a saver for my car pennies, and FINALLY CUT THE GRASS OMG.

Bad news is our water bill comes out in like, 5 days. I'd built up a buffer by adding a little onto what OH sends me each month (not being sneaky, we split bills 50/50 so I pay the April bill, he pays October!) I knew he wouldn't think to save up money himself, so I've built up £70. There's still a gap to bridge of £61, and OH says he can't afford it so I'm paying it from what I would be saving this week and he's paying me back next Friday.

Booked in to get my hair snipped! I'm tempted to go SUPER short, and have it so I can spike it up and look like a super punk but no one seems to think it's a good idea :rotfl: I'm normally fearless, or probably just not bothered, about my hair. I always think "It'll grow!" I might go Ginnifer Goodwin style, but with my undercut!

Oooh I'm not a fan of super short spiky do's, don't do it! Ginnifer Goodwin style will be cute though. I'm too much of a wuss to go that short... I usually say 'It'll grow!' but within reason! And I've had too many hair disasters to take the risk any more, I hate growing out bad haircuts!

Hope the water bill isn't too bad, good that one of you is sensible and saves up for it! :)

Huzzah for paying off the sofa! :T

Watched the first Agents of SHIELD last night, I don't know if it's because I was sleepy but I did feel a bit 'Meh' about it. :o The main 'new' guy is too posey too, kept pouting at the camera which we picked up on in the first 90 seconds then it annoyed us all the way through! Hope the next episode is better. :)

I love short spiky hair, like this. But you need so much confidence for that kind of cut! I think your hair would look lovely in a shoulder length bob if I'm honest, Birdie! I think mine will end up like this :)

We have that to watch tomorrow night, I'll no doubt pick up on the pouting now! I kind of have no doubts that if the guy who plays Dean in Supernatural wasn't so damn pretty his pouting would annoy me too :o I'm nothing if I'm not fickle! I think some shows take a little getting into, must be why most new shows air 2 episodes on the first night?

Excited to get home tonight, have my hair to dye AND I want to reorganise my wardrobe to get everything ready for Winter and I have ironing to do. When did I become this person?!

I've done the bob, time and again, and it's just not good on me! My hair is too lively when it's shorter, needs length to weigh it down and tame it (a little). :p

That first short cut is very cool, you've pretty much got to be that model to carry it off without looking like you fancy girls! ;)

I really struggle to get into a series sometimes, even ones I know I like, such as Dexter, I can struggle to get into a new season so tend to wait until it's all finished then session it. :)

OH has been a very busy bunny this morning, making space in the spare room and putting up the baby's furniture. It's soooooo cute I could barf! :D Whilst we were having lunch our curtains and mobile got delivered so they went up straight away too, it's all coming together! Sadly, the living room looks like a bomb has hit it as we've lost some storage space and OH had to empty my wardrobe to move it into our bedroom so I've got a lot of putting away and sorting/binning to do tonight! My favourite task... not! :p

Exactly! I think I need to keep a heavy fringe on me or I'll be wandering into looking pretty manly. Which would be fine if I was manly but I don't see myself like that! If other people do is a different matter

I'd come and sort things for you Birdie, I love that! It'd be like that episode of Big Bang Theory when Sheldon cleans Howard's closest, then begs to organise the box of spare buttons on the drive home :o Please post pictures of the nursery once it's all sorted! Have you started the name discussions? I'd basically die if you called him Harry!

I get what you mean with waiting for series so you can session it, I loved Desperate Housewives but only if we had a bunch of episodes to watch at once :)

Finished work now, just 20 minutes to kill before my hair appointment. Eep!

I don't think you look at all manly! Another reason you need to stick with cute hair rather than punk! Your hair still pink? :)

I tweeted an in progress photo, got excited! :) I'll be putting finished photos on our FB page- got lots to do before we can class it as finished though!

We're started talking about names but boys names are so hard! Got a couple of maybes, we actually had a discussion last night about one of our choices as OH wanted to know if we're too 'white' for it! Considering it's a bible name, I'd say we're good but OH thinks that we're super lame white folk that might not get away with it... which led to us settling on Albino Bob instead! :rotfl: Would like Harry, but it's stupidly common around these parts, don't want him to be 'Harry #3' or whatever in school! My Dad thinks we're going to choose a stupid name so going to convince him we've decided on Axl or Rox or something and see how long it takes him to realise we're joking! ;)

Did you have a girl name picked out? Can we hear your girl shortlist now you're on team blue? I love baby naming (so long as its not my own, that was HELL! Boy name was sorted immediately girl name was decided the day before she was born)
