Was Ts when it opened this morning. Manic queues only half the check outs opened.
Came back and packed it all away to find DS couldn't find his Sisters Xmas Card. so off I go searching the local corner shop to try and find a replacement. Finally successful but it cost me an extra £20 picking up bits "just in case".
Still DS gave me an early Xmas pressie for helping him out. Anyone remember "The Shillingbury Tales" with Robin Nedwell. Bless him, told me to put my feet up this afternoon and watch some of it before the festivities tonight.:j
So think I will - rather than go for the whoopsie run of the year. Off to Perth, Western Australia to swim with the Dolphins on the 16th, so its not as though I need to stock up for the next 3 months.
Merry Xmas everyone and a special thank you to you all for helping me save so much ££££s.0 -
Merry Christmas one and all x
I had a meltdown yesterday , cried buckets and hid in bed. I have to say I feel better for it and am currently changing beds, sorting fridge, cooking a ham and waiting to wrap last few presents. 'Better out than in' my mum says - I think she's right.
Thoughts still with all those finding Christmas a battle like me xx
Hugs warby68 - glad you are feeling a bit better today :ASmileand hopefully the world will smile back

I live a quiet life in rural Scotland and don't get to the shops often enough to get all the glitches, but I have had some and am very grateful. What I do appreciate on here is the community spirit. I've joined in the day to day lives of all the posters, the good times and the hard times. I've learned wee tricks for use on the ipad, I've heard about TV series that are worth watching, as well as all the bargains to be had. So just wanted to say thanks to you all! :j:j
I'd like to wish everyone a great christmas, if you're on your own, spoil yourself, and if you've got kids, savour the bedlam cos they soon grow up. Just have a good time everyone and hugs from me to those who so especially need them at this time.:santa2::santa2::santa2:
