I need to make a lemon drizzle cake today.
If anyone knows an easy way to grate the rind of a lemon, I would be very grateful.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Hi folks, bit of a lurker here.
I live a quiet life in rural Scotland and don't get to the shops often enough to get all the glitches, but I have had some and am very grateful. What I do appreciate on here is the community spirit. I've joined in the day to day lives of all the posters, the good times and the hard times. I've learned wee tricks for use on the ipad, I've heard about TV series that are worth watching, as well as all the bargains to be had. So just wanted to say thanks to you all! :j:j
I'd like to wish everyone a great christmas, if you're on your own, spoil yourself, and if you've got kids, savour the bedlam cos they soon grow up. Just have a good time everyone and hugs from me to those who so especially need them at this time.:santa2::santa2::santa2:0 -
Can I just add....
Bubbs, I'm finding myself waking in the morning wondering how bad the rain is, in case you get evacuated again. I do think all these positive thoughts from the elite must be helping keep you at home. Lol
Hope the river stays in it's rightful place and lets you have dinner at home.0 -
Merry Christmas one and all x
I had a meltdown yesterday , cried buckets and hid in bed. I have to say I feel better for it and am currently changing beds, sorting fridge, cooking a ham and waiting to wrap last few presents. 'Better out than in' my mum says - I think she's right.
Thoughts still with all those finding Christmas a battle like me xx
hey hun hope you have a better day 2day, and your right better out than in , merry xmas :T0 -
