Not been mums today going Christmas Day she told me couple months ago we not having Christmas mealshe not making it. We having bought Sheperds Pie ready made from Mr T's  I never buy them i make my own they cheaper to make.
Before you think i am rotten i did invite her over here and was going to make Christmas DinnerShe can afford taxi here and back. But she refused to come and said i could cook meal at hers. If you know my mum that wouldnt work she would be on my back all the time and i would get  at her.
My mum and nan used to be the same. Mum would invite nan, nan would moan etc. she even refused to get in the taxi mum sent to pick her up one year. Families hey!

As for the old man next door. His daughter (very cheekily I thought) asked weeks ago if I would make an extra portion of dinner and take it to her dad, as she was going on holiday and wouldn't be around to take him for Christmas. She then tried to give me a fiver to pay for his dinner:eek: Im sure she knew I wouldn't do that and would end up inviting him. I don't mind he's a lovely old chap and very nice to the kids. Nice to have older people around as all their grandparents are sadly no longer with us:(
Well I only stopped for a quick coffee. Bathroom and floors done, now on to the kids rooms. My OH and I have a bet on how many discarded odd socks we will find:rotfl:
aw hun i culdnt bare the though of anyone not having someone xmas day adn if i knew any one thye wuld be with us.:D
totaly true about the elderly it will be gr8t to have around and will keep the kids entertained , cant belive she asked you do do that , and was cheeky to give a £5 id have given it back to :eek:and then told her to tell her dad dinners on table at (what eve time and get over here;))
the girl up the road;)(that what well call her) will be so made up thers nothing like being made to feel like part of a family and know that shes got xmas sorted and most of all her kids will have a gr8t time , it will be amazing in your house nice and warm i bet and lots of laughter and i bet more food than tescos :eek:;) hope you enjoy
i used to live on a council estate (a relly run down bad one ) and wuld often do a picnic in the summers/dry days ,so all kids/adults culd share, there was no money about and often used to get my door knock to buy tvs, dvd, games consoles ,clothes, anyhting they culd sell, and often wuld be asked for milk ,sugur tea bags etc,so im used to giving lol and turly dont mind it used to breack my heart to see people with out , this week me and my o/h have been to a few charity and given boxes of food and drinks(soft ones ) and one charity gave us a gift a lovley tea light holder and tea lights with it , it made ,me cry, and the place i droped it at the homless people there were so friendly and gr8tfull ,me and o/h culdnt belive the xmas spirit they had and how happy they were, it was a shelter run by nuns and the work they were doing was amazing all the men there were polite and helpfull to the nuns0 -

Been to Sada this morning, muller still on 10 for 4 pound.
Bought 8 different to compare against Ms.
Hectic in the store but plenty of receipts left in baskets and blowing around.:j0 -
Afternoon all :hello:
Not been about much the last couple of days, too much going on, but think we're all sorted now :T
The only thing we are missing though is a pudding for Christmas day  So looks like I'll need to do a trip to T's or A's but think I'll leave it 'til tonight, no doubt they will be going like a fair and I suffer from terrible trolley rageSo safer all round to wait until after dark :rotfl:

Xmas is a hard time for some people. Either stressful or upsetting. I haven't even done my tree yet. I'm sitting here procrastinating. I am going to have to start someplace.
My wonderful uncle passed away last Christmas morning and now I'm struggling to make it all pretty again.
However like you, and boy do you you have strength girl. I'm going to get my wee Scots backside up, paint on a smile and get this sorted.
Never feel completely alone SD cause somewhere someone is thinking of you. At this moment its me from a very windy rainy grey bit of Scotland honey.
Lots of love xxxx
I love that:T:T:T:T
Another quick catch up then onto the next room;)I cannot say how much I'm now appreciating that Cleaning APG glitch
we had earlier. As I type my Mr Muscle oven cleaner is doing its work;)and Nannylala has just phoned to say her new freezer has arrived so can she whoopsie with me later:T:rotfl::rotfl:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

I think its corners too as I bought ten corners yesterday and got over £3 back on a £4 spend, the only down side was I bought the chocolate orange one and it came up as apple pie at 60p, so some limited editions may be a bit skewed.
best option seems to be just eight, all different, no fillers but avoid vanilla.0
