After stocking up on glitched Tesco wines in the last few weeks, OH gets a Xmas gift from a work contact, mixed full case of wine from Naked Wines. No room to store it!

you'll have to drink it then:D
  • Anyone else constantly refreshing the honeycomb volcano?!

I also put an order on urban piercing last night but have yet to receive a cancellation e-mail... I paid £1.56, am hoping it'll work as my total was over £20... we'll see...

I also ordered some nice looking pink Golddigga flip-flops earlier for £2.25 delivered, spotted on Grabbit:

    Afternoon Everyone,
    Wet grey day here.
Tesco wouldn't accept my M&S voucher for £5 of a £35 shop. I guess it's the luck of the draw which shop you go to.
Yesterday I brought two packets of cheese and when I got to the car noticed that the expiry date was 13.12.12 so I took them back into the store ,where they exchanged them When I asked if they did double the difference back as the goods were out of date, I was told no only either a refund or money back. So I went home I emailed Tesco's and had a phone call this morning in which they apologised but said that they didn't do double the difference on goods which have gone past their sell by date. egh!!
Hope everyone is having a good day

i bought redued mr kipplings cakes in co-op few days ago and when i got home i was going to give to the kids i went to peal the sticker off to see what date was ok or if i had to freeze them and they were 3 days out of dat i sent email and they sent me 2 x £10 :Tvouchers this morning but i didnt get them till i just got in as i didnt open post was a lovely suprise

    so for a 55p spend i got a £20 voucher i was :j just now :o

thanks for this did the £5 off £35 work online? if so has anyone got a spare one in their recycling bin?

I didn't know there was a code to use online. Do you mean the voucher we're picking up in store? if so, it doesn't work online.

If you gave me your shopping list to do in NI it would be virtually free darling - said in my Craig Revel Horwood voice.

You have to remember that you have to part wih hard cash to get the APG. I think when we do the APG generating shop we take that off the total in our head and then take it off another shop when we use it. Does that make sense?
  • You did the store manager a favour here- I know this for sure- that Boots have an internal auditing procedure and if there is OOD food on the shelf the store manager may not get the contract renewed - I have this straight from mouth of a store manager last week. I would have targeted the store manager on that one and told him that I was ringing head office. He would have been shaking in his boots.

me to especially as its dairy;) not a good thing to eat out of date;)

Just had a call from Tesco CS re my gammon dtd refusal. They said of course I was due DTD and are sending me a gift card for £17.00. Next time I see that CS lady I will take pleasure in telling her she was wrong!!

if you wanted to be realy cheeky you could insult her more by taking in the dtd policy printed out for her to read ;):rotfl:
  • So, are we all stocked up and prepared for the impending apocalypse?
