Asda been doing the £2 gift card for years. Although mine only do it per receipt no matter how many items overcharged on it.

    Good Afternoon all :)

Just catching up after being at school all morning helping with disco and popcorn for the kids - great morning. :)

Today I am going to be taking biscuits back to A's because I only got a £7 apg when I was expecting £7.21
I am also going to be fraudulently using lots of coupons in T's

Is this NI, or can you use APG's in all Adsa's??

I never knew A's did that if the overcharge! Every time I've been overcharged before in there they've only given me the overcharge back. Is it a new thing?

In that case I might pop in and get some Mario ones on my way to work! Do they give £2 per item overcharged or just £2 per transaction and the overcharge back for each item?

Edit: just seen you've answered this! Definitely might try an grab some of the Mario ones today then! The extra £1's on gift cards can go towards gin for my nan at Christmas!

    Thank you for your help!

While you are there check out the little milkybars, as in P@@le they had a SEL for 15p and I got charged 20p. I got £4 as had them in two different shops as fillers. This has happened to me twice now. I saw them again last time I was in there but didn't want to push my luck. Although you never know I might have got charged the right price.
  • Afternoon Everyone,
    Wet grey day here.
Tesco wouldn't accept my M&S voucher for £5 of a £35 shop. I guess it's the luck of the draw which shop you go to.
Yesterday I brought two packets of cheese and when I got to the car noticed that the expiry date was 13.12.12 so I took them back into the store ,where they exchanged them When I asked if they did double the difference back as the goods were out of date, I was told no only either a refund or money back. So I went home I emailed Tesco's and had a phone call this morning in which they apologised but said that they didn't do double the difference on goods which have gone past their sell by date. egh!!
Hope everyone is having a good day

I do like what some people come out with on there :wall::wall:

there's an offer in asda where you buy a stand up dvd, such as michael mcintyre, and you get a free best of stand up dvd free. However this is only with select titles. But, if you take the "get this free" sticker and put it on a stand up dvd you want (that is not included in the deal) it should work when being scanned on the till. I guess their system doesn't recognise the select titles, must be some glitch!

Oooh thank you! I'll definitely have a look out for those as well then :) a lot of the SELs were wrong this morning, even though all the things I tried scanned cheaper, they really don't seem on the ball in that store! One of the SA's told me I could only use my APG if I spent £40, tried to explain to her but she wasn't English and didn't understand me at all so I just left it. Think I'm gonna stick to cpoint in the future!
  • afternoon all

just back from Mr T's. Picked up the 3 of the finest roast potatoes on 3 for 2, 2 of the 2 for £5 sausages and 2 pots of gravy 2 for £2 and the till took 3 finest vouchers :)

nothing much else to report, got some more bogof items with the £3 dairy voucher. Could do with a glitch on fridges asap :)

:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

Could I ask a favour please?

While you're out shopping could you take a peep to see who's selling turkey crowns. I'm the only one who wants turkey so it'll be a waste for me to have to buy a whole bird. Plus there's no room in the fridge.

    Thanks :D

I bought mine in Aldi, just over £10. They did have smaller ones for £7.99. :)
