It's the same here, elsie1969! I wish the trolley men would go on strike :rotfl:
I think they must be collecting them themselves.
Can't believe how many trolleymen there are either.
We have at least 8 at a time and our store is not a large one.
The only other thing i can think of is that people are all keeping their receipts because they have gifts on them that may need to be returned after Christmas.0 -
Who else ordered the Pringles socks from fig leaves the other day? Mine have just been delivered and I am well happy with them. My DS will be chuffed. But a nice surprise in the box as well. A wilkinson sword hydro silk razor and a bounty bar:j The razors are £4.99 in Boots so a nice little haul for the money.
Thank you very much to the OP:T0 -

Hi guys
Haven't been around at all lately, just don't seem to have a chance at uni. Anyways back home now and popped to Mr A's this morning in Bmouth and they had these marked up on the shelf at £1 but scanning at 25p each! In fact a lot if xmas stuff like the wishes and Lindt bears were all marked full price but scanned reduced.
Was very pleased as I was on a buy them for £1 anyways. Hope this helps someone!
Sorry if it's already been posted did have a quick look but couldn't see anything!
Forgot to mention there was also Mario ones which were marked at £1 but scanned at £1.49, so I put them back.0 -

I take it A don't do DTD then? There comes a time in every woman's life when the only thing that helps is a glass of champagne ... Bette Davis0 -

Exactly. Tosco can't reclaim the fiver just like sada can't. Or any CS MOC in a paper for that matter. They are happy enough to make the money back on the rest of your shopping (from those people who actually only use one fiver per shop like they are supposed to)Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

They would have refunded 49p and given you a £2 giftcards. Ie you would have been £1 upApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

They refund the overcharge and give you a £2 giftcard for each different item they overcharged you on
Which in this case is better because DTD would have only given 98p backApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

I never knew A's did that if the overcharge! Every time I've been overcharged before in there they've only given me the overcharge back. Is it a new thing?
In that case I might pop in and get some Mario ones on my way to work! Do they give £2 per item overcharged or just £2 per transaction and the overcharge back for each item?
Edit: just seen you've answered this! Definitely might try an grab some of the Mario ones today then! The extra £1's on gift cards can go towards gin for my nan at Christmas!
Thank you for your help!0 -
