Could I ask a favour please?
While you're out shopping could you take a peep to see who's selling turkey crowns. I'm the only one who wants turkey so it'll be a waste for me to have to buy a whole bird. Plus there's no room in the fridge.
Thanks
The problem with crowns is that the retailer charges you more for these because the bits they throw away you still get charged for them.
I have seen whole turkey for £4.50 kg and Crowns were £7.60 a KG.0 -

Just got a PM saying T just take the hit on APGs to get you in the door. They don't get them checked as they can't claim the money back like they can with other coupons.0 -
Hiya,
You've probably had loads of answers already but bernard matthews frozen mini crowns are £6 in sainsburys atm and if you use the shopitize app you could get £2 back
HTH
The small Bernard Matthews crowns were £9 in my Sainsburys yesterday.
Would have got one if they had been £6.

no, Tesco accept them at a total loss (according to CSA in my local.) in the hope that they get your custom, she told me they just go into the bin as they cannot claim anything back on them. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.0 -

I don't think T's can moan even if they have been used already in the correct store - they are advertising that they will accept them and, so far as I can see, they haven't put out any T&C's restricting usage. They are just useless bits of paper regardless of whether they have been 'pre-loved' or not ! Its similar to M's accepting T's clubcard coupons. I commented to a T's CA the other day that T's must be absolutely crackers to accept them and he said they just want to stop you going into the competitor stores. And I really can't see Asda giving T's ANY info at all .ELITE 5:2

You are really paying extra for the convenience of getting just the crown. Some people see this as a worthwhile trade off0 -

Did you get it scanned?
The smallest one (serves 3-4 at 1.1-1.4kg) were originally £9 but went down to £6 - saw it on MSM and picked one up for us on Tues (managed to get a 1.415kg one so was well pleased).
No longer showing on there only showing the serves 5-6 (1.5-1.9kg) which is £9 from £12 so don't know if its over or just OOS online now"You've got to cut your cloth to suit your wassname" Terry (my Dad), 1944-present0 -

Agreed....all APGs and Sada fivers go straight in the bin at Ts once they've been tallied up with till receipts. They dont go near Valissis (or whatever it's called....)0 -
