Got another DTD beef tonight in toscos - the same toscos as before so it all felt a bit dodgey. I had to argue my case more than a bit with the plonker who called himself the deputy manager but he came around to my way of thinking in the end!!!never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0

A few weeks back I was in T and needed some info. I rang my OH to check this forum for me for some info.
He said he couldn't make head nor tail of it as everyone was talking in code:):rotfl::rotfl:To do is to be. Rousseau

From my shopping list the Marmalade, and chicken tonight, (only 50p MOC for this in post today
) is to go in a hamper I have put together for my Mum and Dad since the BHS one I ordered got cancelled.
This one will probably be more appreciated by them as it contains a lot of useful things like washing liquids and softeners, fabreeze smellie spray, kitchen rolls and goodness knows what else I got with the help of car and mag mocs. And its been put together in a large basket I picked up today from my local charity shop. £2 for a basket with a T's label still attached..... how appropriate :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mum will worry about how much it cost me to put together, so she'll just need a bit of reminding about me being a friend of :money:
I also got a pack of Tetly tea bags in Co-op. Worth looking out for these, it was the 160 pack which is half price.... but a few packs left on the shelf had 50% extra free so were eq. to 240 pack. :T0 -
think it hasnt included the multi buy on coke its 2 for £2.50 in A or 3 for £3 in T
Yep, wombled a receipt today and it says £1.46 multibuy on 2 x 2l cherry coke (2 for £2.50) but apg see's it as 3.96 and compares nicely against S's and M's :j:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D
:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j
:money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.790 -

If only they knew- no better still -they don't deserve to know:)
They think it's takes too much time. But, with recessions and money tight, everyone should need to save as much as they can. Instead it's how price pledges etc. work - they give people the assurance that they're paying a fair price and people, it seems, like to feel assured. (It doesn't matter whether it's true or untrue that the price they're actually getting is fair, what matters is their feeling of being assured.)
People generally haven't got time, they are not bothered and just pick up what they want to buy regardless of the final cost (though they may be tempted by some 'special offers' that represent price increases on the previous week's price when compared to a competitor whose previous offer that we were comparing to has now ended).
I suppose different people see 'quality' of their life in different ways, they can spend it away from price comparing but at a cost of having less money to spend on the nicer things that they complain they can't have because they haven't been wise enough to save money elsewhere. You see people, despite supposedly not having money, picking up luxury branded items, at ridiculous prices, that they could do without (and they aren't shopping savvily and claiming back via price promises etc.).
I used to be a bit like them. My shopping bill is now a quarter of what it used to be and I am getting twice as much as I used to. I don't think they think we are in the gutter - and I don't think the matter even crosses their mind for consideration in the first place - but they simply haven't got the time/can't be bothered.
However, I am glad they don't care or deserve to know. Thank goodness for the majority as they are paying more to subsidise our far cheaper way of shopping.0
