I got 2x FF and a LOB. I've just read that the !!!!!! won't work, but I thought it was the LOB that was the trigger. Is that right!? Hope I haven't just wasted my money.
Also, my Adsa didn't have the Adidas Ice trio, just the duo. Have they taken it off the offer or is it possible that they were sold out/ not stocked here? Is there another trigger for the 2 for £8 gifts? I like the look of the Impulse tins and bags for my nieces, but wasn't sure if they'd work with another trigger item. Any ideas?
As the resident expert on the gifts, I can help. The Ice Trio is still on the offer according to sada.com. I found mine last Saturday, not in the gift aisle but near the front entrance of the store, in a shelving with its back to the entrance. There was a price label of £10 underneath it. On closer inspection, this related to a totally different product, which wasn't even Adidas.
There is another trigger. The Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering Set (pink) - the same one as the one in my combinations 1 and 2 in my last collation - also acts like a trigger, since the multibuy isn't being compared. You can therefore buy the Dove Fresh and the Vaseline set (this is still the best known combination I believe). Indeed, it's possible that you may just have led me to an even better killer - but I need someone else to help me on this since I can't tell from sada.com available in my area.
However, before I get to that possibility here are your options:
1x Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering Set (pink) - £6 vs £4
1x Impulse Mini Luxuries - £5 vs £3
(Therefore hopefully you pay £8 but the system refunds from £11 to 10% cheaper than £7.)
1x Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering Set (pink) - £6 vs £4
1x Impulse Tease City Escape Gift Set - £6 vs N/A
(You pay £8. This refunds from £6 to 10% cheaper than £4. Total £2.60 off £8.)
The above two combinations require min. 6 fillers.
Next combination:
With the Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering Set (pink) you can buy any Impulse product that you happen to find in-store which is on the 2 for £8 offer, regardless of whether it is on MSM or not. It doesn't even have to be on sada.com. This will simply compare the Dove Fresh set £6 vs £4. If the other item you buy isn't online, then you'll need at least 7 fillers.
Now the potential killer.
On MSM, when logged in, I can now see Impulse Barry M Glamour Gift Set. This is showing with a price of £8 (double take - £8) and with no multibuy for A, with N/A elsewhere.
Question thrown open to the forum: Is this part of the 2 for £8 deal? I can't see this Barry M Glamour gift set on sada.com at all. It looks like a very nice set.
If you can buy this, as part of the multibuy, perhaps the other item can be one of the items known to have a cheaper price at a competitor (the Vaseline set, the Dove Fresh Indulgence Pampering pink or the Impulse Mini Luxuries, which may give varying APGs some of which make be good and others not so good).
Has anyone got the Impulse Barry Gilmour Gift set showing on sada.com as within the 2 for £8 seasonal gift set multibuy?
Also - Morrisons spotters - has Morrisons got this item and at a cheaper price than £8.89? (10% more expensive than £8.) And perhaps a lot cheaper e.g. £8 comparing to £3-odd at Morrisons for Barry Gilmour gift (with multibuy at A not registering).0 -

"A concern troll is a user whose actual point of view is opposed to the one that the user claims to hold. The concern troll posts in Web forums devoted to its declared point of view and attempts to sway the group's actions or opinions while claiming to share their goals, but with professed "concerns". The goal is to sow uncertainty and doubt within the group.
Once a concern troll has sowed dissent or discord, often he or she can sit back and let the other commenters do the rest of the work. When a concern troll has done the job correctly, the discussion will split, factions will emerge, and support for the cause will have eroded. Concern trolling can also be highly distracting, as people band together to oppose the concern troll, rather than discussing serious issues, including valid concerns which should be addressed."
Whilst I understand what a concern troll is, what I have never understood is why someone, anyone, would want to do this, especially in relation to a thread such as this.
Never heard of it before but sounds about right to meApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -
Heres some radical thinking. Why don't we
- Stop insulting current users
- Stop discussing PPRd users
- Use ignore/report button as intended
- Save some freakin money!

Hi Savvy
Can you tell me is it possible to buy say 4 or 6 gift sets to get a bigger APG or do we need to stick to 2
