Sorry if this has already been replyed to, i havent had chance to read all through. Try restarting the print spooler http://community.spiceworks.com/how_to/show/13-restarting-the-print-spooler-service-in-windows-xp

These instructions are for XP but should be similiar for vista or windows 7. If not just google "restart the print spooler vista/windows 7" (whichever you have) If none of this works then you need to delete the printer from your machine and reinstall the drivers. HTH

Edited to say it probably is an ink problem so dont reinstall drivers until further advice as its a lot of hassel but worth trying to reset the print spool as this is easy.

Missed that one my Mums a PG fanatic too where as I am more a coffee fanatic but would of been fab for Mum
