I was on the talktalk home page and they have FREE line rental meaning the TV/Phone/Internet was only £14.50
However a person popped up on chat and denyed the offer!!!

I took a few screen shots see below, can they back out now?

    It's merely an 'offer to treat'. They are not obliged to offer it to you at the advertised price if it's an error (or even if it's not). Exactly the same applies to products wrongly priced in a shop.

    Hmmmm - I guess they could turn my business away then.
    Still though, you'd think a big company could afford to honour what on there own home page, they've not said no as of yet tho.
    Would it not be false advertising?
