Random drug testing at work

Our company are introducing randon drug testing in the new year.
We are coach drivers so its all justified for safety reasons.

The testing will involve a mouth swab or a urine test or a hair test.

We were wondering about the folically challenged amongst us.
Can they ask for a sample of pubic hair?

That seems very personall and intrusive
just because you are paranoid doesnt mean to say they are not out to get you

Hair testing is the best way of testing for long term cannabis use as it remains in the hair follicles for months. If a person tested is bald or has a shaved head, body hair from the chest, armpits or legs can be used, while employment can be denied if no hair is available. For each 1/2-inch of hair, 30 days of drug use can be detected, with longer hair providing a drug history of up to two years.

(Info taken from a US site)

Personally, I'm all for it and I am sure the hair collection will be done sensitively. You have a very responsible job and I like knowing that I can be confident in knowing my driver hasn't recently been taking drugs.

I'm sure an eyebrow will suffice.

(One hair from your eyebrow, obviously. Not your whole eyebrow. That would be weird.)
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".

Hope they have a contingency plan, if drug use is widespread.

    Could be short of drivers.

I had chest hair taken for a drugs test when I was on an assessment day for a job at a big round building in Cheltenham (didn't get it but not due to drugs).
