A 5 minute phone call to the co-op this morning means I am now on the new 2.79% product without the £999 fee. (obviously the £150 I paid a few days ago wasn't refundable)
I thought yesterday I would have to pay another £150 booking fee but I can confirm that this was not the case and there are no fees at all for re-mortgaging.
There were no issues at all and not surprisingly I wasn't the first to call them this morning.0
