Cheers KS...spoke to a financial advisor yesterday, and after looking into it, he said that the Yorks Bank deal could not be beaten, so it would now appear to be a straight race between the Yorks. Bank and the Co-Op Bank then, unless you know otherwise ??0

I only know what I posted because I got an emailed news update.
Sorry, I tend to be able to say the best deal for a particular set of circumstances round about the time I'm running such a case past Mortgage Brain.I am a mortgage broker. How annoying.. paid the booking fee for the above Co-Op Mortgage on Monday.
Assuming they are still paying the legals and valuation (re-mortgage deals only) with the new deal I take it the only option I have is to phone and ask to move on to the new deal and pay another booking fee?0 -
If you've applied and paid the booking fee, I presume your application will simply continue, unless you want to change your application?
If that is the case, I suggest you contact the lender.I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Yes applied last week and paid the £150 booking fee 2 days ago for the 2.79% 5 year deal with £999 fee.
I definitely want to go on to the new deal without the £999 fee... I have a feeling they will be inundated with people in a similar position.0 -

I just put my application into the post at work, managed to dig it out again! I called Coop and the girl advised that I should call back tomorrow, they might need to resend my paper work - not sure about that as I can see an reference to the £999 in it.0

Paid my £150 fee on 14 Feb. I am hoping that in the circumstances the remaining £849 will be waived as Britannia is a Trading name of Co-op Bank.
I have e-mailed...if not waived, or allowed to be transferred to Co-op deal I plan to re-apply to Co-op and will write off the £150 fee cost.:mad:0
