Help-Link Boiler Disaster

A Help-Link sales person came out to visit my mother to quote for a new boiler. We didnt think a Combi boiler would be possible as the old system was conventional. The sales person stated there would be no problem fitting a Combi however failed to mention that complete new thick gas pipes would be needed which would cover the front of the house. They came and fitted the new boiler and to my horror when I arrived at my mothers house, found that the engineers had left a massive hole on the outside of the property, another hole inside just above the boiler and new gas piping which stretched from one side of the front of the house to the other. Part of the new gas piping is parallel to the front door so should someone slip when walking out of the front door and tread on this new gas pipe, it would bend and possibly crack. My mother signed to say she was happy with the work as the engineer told her that he wouldn't get paid for the work unless she did. After several phone calls to this company, the 'area manager' eventually came out to visit us and agreed that the sales person should have told us about the new pipework required. He also agreed that she made a mistake and put 3 metres of gas pipework required on the order form when in actual fact, a lot more was needed. He agreed to call us back the next day to get someone to come and block up the holes. He didn't call. We tried to call him back but he text us saying he was in training and to contact the office. We did this and they have now agreed to re-attend to block up the holes. This is fine but I am so horrified with the massive gas piping which is clearly visible from the front of the property - it just doesn't seem right to have so much visible gas piping at the front of a property which can easily be trodden on. Does anyone know if we have any rights here or what we could possibly do to get this fixed?
Thanks.
Thanks.
