scholesfan88 Well i'm just telling it like it is. People seem surprised when they pay £5 including postage and recieve aload of cheap jewellery.
The bags were £10 each and they 'didn't contain 'a load of jewellery'. They contained a purse, a necklace and a pair of earrings as expected. They were supposed to be a 'lucky dip' for a least £50 worth of items. I accept that I took a risk in that I might not like the items but not that they would be cheap and tatty. I'm prepared to take the hit but I think the company has not done itself any favours as if these goods are representative then I would never buy from them again.0 -

Exactly right, good point well made. I have used this site for years with the same aim as everyone else on here. That is to save money and look for bargins if possible. I have very limited funds and took a chance to try and get a bargin. The result was that I recieved something very far from it. Thankfully it does not happen often as fellow forumers (if that's a word:-) ) are great at posting fantastic stuff. No need to be sniffy about other peoples views . It goes very much against the ethos of the forum and is why everyone will jump on you!
Merry Christmas and happy bargin hunting:)0 -

I have just received an email from the company rejecting my request to return the damaged earrings that were in my pack, too late though, I thought the email I received the other day saying "Confirmation for Return Request" meant I could send them back, luckily I sent them recorded.0

Just so you guys know, there is a 25% discount code on this website now but it doesn't apply to these stocking fillers. I tried to cancel my order when I saw the discount code, called them up and found out it doesn't apply after all.0

I too received a shoddy 'lucky' dip - a pink purse which is frayed, plus a tangled necklace and earrings. Very cheap and plasticky. Not worth £5 let alone £50! In a dusty black bag.
I have requested a return, but been told an emphatic NO so I'd just advise anyone to be very careful of this company.
They have poor quality control, are somewhat untruthful in what they offer, and have utterly non existent customer services.0 -
I'm surprised everyone's so disappointed, although I'm not awed I thought mine was fine! The purse was this one http://martinewester.com/products/innocent-peach-singing-bird-purse.html
which is a bit more bright than pastel but still nice.
I also got a 3-chain star necklace, as pictured earlier in the thread and matching earings. The earings are hoop ones and not great but nice that they match. They don't look cheap cheap but not to the value MW claims I'd say!
The main problem I have is how they're just shoved in a plastic bag with nothing to stop it getting very tangled!!! It'd be nice if they had a tag or were in a little box!
It's not just the lucky dip as another necklace I got was the same!0 -
well i have had a woman's view, mother in law, and she said it was good value for the money.2013-Swag bucks £10 Qmee £2.17 App Trailers 1.23 not a huge amount but better than nothing0
