grocery budget is hard to master and after all these years I've never learnt the art of that or menu planning and £40 is quite a small budget to get offers with as well0

have you thought about maybe almond milk or anything? you can make your own almond milk, you can also get calcium from ways other than milk if that is a concern for you
I can honestly say that ... no, I haven't!:)
And ... TBH I might try it on the odd occasion but couldn't see me doing it on a regular basisas it sounds a bit of a clart (I goo*gled it!) and that it doesn't actually save much money?

Good to know I'm not alone!:)I knew she had crohns I just didn't know that that meant no porridge ... I don't know much about crohns tbh
I'm currently on a really restrictive diet as I'm having a bad flare - there are things I can usually eat in moderation that I just can't just now.
Apparently porridge is quite high in fibre (which had never occurred to me before) so not allowed it unfortunately ... I love it too!
So ... had a really bad nightI went to bed far too early but just couldn't stay awake any longer .... got woken up by cats trying to kill each other (big cat jumped on bed & unfortunately chose the spot where wee cat was sleeping ) ... and it was only 11:30pm ..... eventually got back to sleep and woke up again with the thumping headache having made a reappearance ... @ 2:30am *sigh*
Have been up since silly o'clock - will have a nap this afternoon (to try to stay up later tonight) as I really need to start trying to sleep through the night's or it's going to be impossible when I go back to work!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

So ..... I've made muffins this afternoon :j:j
1st time I've ever triedand they were actually quite easy to do! (I'm not a good baker:()
The only slight hiccup was that my muffin tin (courtesy of Mum) only has 6 errrr holes and the mix made 12 so I had to do them in 2 batches - so that wasn't very mse on the oven front.
I'll keep an eye out for another one and if it's not too expensive will get it!
Think they'll be great for a snack at workand think they worked out around 20p each :T
Need to go & have a hunt on OS as I'm sure I've seen people say they freeze them ...
ETA don't think any from this batch will need frozen .... they're very errrrr moreish!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
