Went to bed to watch Martin Cl*unes and his Clydesdale horses (one of my fav breeds - major ambition to own one sometime ....)
It was really good but think I must've passed out sometime during the 2nd / 3rd adverts as I certainly didn't see the end .. lucky I was recording it *phew* so will watch it shortly.
Slept OK on and off .... felt like death when I had to get up this morning but ... needs must so off I toddled to work. Had an OK day and it went quite quickly so :T Managed to catch boss just as I was leaving & he's OK about next week .... will have to take some of the appts unpaid but not a lot I can do about it as I have to have the treatmentNot going to worry about it just now! (more whether we've still got a job come April atm:eek:)
So .... Friday night - took Maisie to the park with her throw ball thing as was totally knackered..... she doesn't seem to mind!
PJs were on by 5:30..... prawns defrosting for dinner (was supposed to have prawn salad at lunchtime but didn't manage to get it made this morning so had to buy something for lunch ) .....
Glad it's the weekend!
Need to look at the spreadsheets and do some updating but think it's minimal:)
Must start list of stuff to order once I get past the c/card cut off date (1th but use the 17th to be safe)!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Ohhhh we've just had another power cut ... sure it was just a couple of days ago we had one:mad:
We used to get loads like this but it's been better for ages ...... now you know why I'm so organised for them!
Dinner was in the oven (part baked rolls to go with my prawn salad!) - thankfully warm enough to finish them off.
House lights back on now but street lights off so it's a bit eerie outside! If I disappear ... you know why!;)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Probably a bit late, but my best tip for cold easing is rubbing Vicks on the soles of your feet. Seems a bit weird but I swear it helped last time I was suffering with a cold.....I do not make mistakes, I learn lessons.I work to live, not live to work.I love to live & live to love.Good enough is exactly that.0

mmmm not heard that one before Lurker:p but will certainly remember it for next time!
Well, passed out cold before 9pm last nightjust couldn't stay up any longer ......
So .... today - planning a nice walk at the big, slightly further away beach early afternoon, a quick pop into Mr T on the way home for fuel & a few bits (don't need a lot!) and then tucked up nice & early again:)
At least if the forecasted snow then arrives tomorrow  I won't need to go out!:T

I'm tired, so probably nothing much today.Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Joining in the bunch of "tiredees" ....
I decided to stretch out on the sofa this morning .... to watch Saturday*Kitchen and The*Good*Cook .... didn't see that much of either of them!
Took Maisie to the extra special (slightly further away) beach as it's been a while since we've been .... it's lovely - wish it was just a wee bit closer so we could go more often!
Popped to Mr T and got a few bits and then home.
Rice Pudding in the oven :T - never made one before but it was on The*Good*Cook this morning (which I thankfully recorded;)) - he's great too - a bit like Nigel*Slater ... I could watch them both all day!
Fingers crossed the Rice Pud's good! (another 10 mins to go!)Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
