    Going by the replies to the current suggestions getting a 2nd Virgin box and paying the extra sub is the only way this will ever work - unless one of you is going round to her house and setting it up for him.

    I bought a refurbished tv off Ebay and the wireless thingy and managed to set it up myself! This is a huge achievement by my standards!

  • I am going to bed early tonight so I can watch TV in bed! I have never had a tv in my bedroom before as I was always taught that it is bad for you. I consider it the lap of luxury!

    Brilliant, I have wanted to do this for years but had no idea how to go about it. Reception is fine provided I seperate the wireless thingy from the remote. I got the cheaper wireless thingy as it had better reveiws than the more expensive one.
