There is a few differnt one, theres a universal, and a degreaser.
Degreaser is fine for worktops, unless you have wooden ones or marble (and probably granite)
Thats the one in Purple and green spray.
I have both the degreaser and universal cleaner and both say that they aren't for 'direct food contact surfaces', such as eating utensils, chop boards etc, but I personally (and as I'm sure many others do) use my worktop as a prep area sometimes, so that's where I feel the confusion lies - the advert shows people using it on worktops, and the bottle says it's ok for that too, but if you use the worktop as a prep area then it's no good.
Think I'll stick to good ol' Asda multi surface cleaner in future! Too much hassle to have 3 or 4 different cleaners in use!0 -
You can't get a bath re-enamelled in situ, it has be sent off to be shot blasted and re-kilned. I've looked into this recently as I've bought a house with an advocado cast iron bath. I was tempted to get it re-done. For a standard bath, it would cost approx £600+VAT, plus the cost of carriage (don't know how much that is, most re-enamelling companies offer a number to call and get a price). You can have the bath re-coated in situ, but this will only be good for 7-12 years.
Search on google for renamelling a bath, that's where I found the info.
