Looks like a pretty sweet deal! Who do talkhome use for reception?0

Well I just wanted to say thanks for the tips. I went with Ovivo and they have just added 100 extra mb to their free allowance too. No complaints - it's a killer deal!!!0
-
Their customer service is helpful and responsive too, at least for email queries.
And their free allowance has now gone up to 100 mins, 100 texts and 400mb! (An extra 100mb per month).
The prices of out of allowance calls have also dropped0 -
Yeah i saw this today too. They are also helpful on twitter. I'm impressed; lets hope it continues!0

Thats the most important for me really as once the free stuff is gone my credit depletes almost instantly on orange. Over £4 in less than one hour and I really did basically nothing on the internet except a few whatsapp messages.
Your right absolute scam, they give you free credit (which must cost someone to be used) and then they have the cheek to charge market rates for a service you use.
The networks are not charities they are business's. If they don't charge you for a service (i.e. you get it "free") they have to charge somewhere else to make up for it. Even with Ovio you don't get anything truly free you have to watch adverts and as someone else has said that's not going to be reliable long term, there have been other ad based phone providers, none are still around for a reason.
Remember if your paying the monetary costs then some else is and no-one is doing it for free, your paying somewhere along the line.....0 -
No one has to watch adverts with Ovivo and they appear to be doing very well.0

Yes - ATM. This might change soon:No one has to watch adverts with Ovivo and they appear to be doing very well.
I don't think that this will bring much inconvenience though.Update on our Advertising ServicesAs you know, OVIVO is able to bring you the service we do, because we use Advertising to subsidise what we give you for free each month. We're pleased to inform you that in addition to our Offers E-mails, we will be switching our Mobile Internet Advertising Services back on in the Spring. Closer to the time, we will provide you with more information.
We're also working on introducing new forms and Advertising and Applications as part of our service, designed at adding more value to your mobile experience with OVIVO.0 -
I am trying out Ovivo as there is no genuine pay as you use 3G data on the market. Ovivo's business model is sure to change, let's see where the ride takes us.0

If your are a BT Landline Customer and you have a PAYG Mobile Smartphone you can use your cheaper/inclusive BT Landline Minutes to make calls via this new app.

Tesco triple your credit .. top up £10, receive £20 free credit .. and you use your free credit up first
Check their call tariff. The rate is over 3 times their Tesco Lite per minute cost, so no wonder they triple your credit!
I need to park a friend's mobile number as they are going abroad for 3 months and have got their PAC code. So, until they come back and make some decisions about what to do, decided to use TESCO lite as they only call and text.
Currently Ovivo is best/cheapest for low use, but as has been hinted, worried about their longevity and who knows in 3 - 4 months' time.0
