I would imagine, if it didn't ask you the question and you didn't lie and you are actually 'allowed' to apply for credit then there isn't a problem.

Even if they missed it, its up to the op to inform them that he is indeed bankrupt.

Another point worth mentioning after reading thro my bankruptcy paperwork. It states that i cannot obtain credit of more than £500 without firstly obtaining permission from the official receiver

But you do have to make the creditor aware first that you are still bankrupt...?

Yes i should imagine so but as stated earlier wasnt even asked that on the application
