sky account (cancelling)

Heres my problem: I`ll shorten it

I have Sky tv, phone and broadband

I used to pay around £100 a month then in October enough was enough so I phoned up to cancel.

Well after much discussion, my package went down to £28 a month basic package, phone and broadband. It was a 2.5 hour discussion and throughout the time I kept saying I dont want a contract. Ok she said everything progressed as I thought.

So we agreed £28 . new HD box £44 and engineer visit £15. I said I dint really need a box. But in the end I agreed..... I went online after couple of weeks to see my new bill was going to be ok. It wasnt so phoned up again!!! They said they`d amend it but have to pay for the tv i had watched...!!!

The engineer come fitted new box. The thing never worked . It plays tv but no record, nor anything else.

They came back fixed it, didnt work. Phoned up went trough tests , reboots didnt work sent another engineer, blamed everything , left, still doesnt work , be here in a few days!!!

Then onto broadband. Currently running 1.4m.....was 0.4. 0.6 numerous phone calls, still rubbish, goes off sometimes, randomly.

So this evening had enough phoned up said take it out......lady said try a new router...and as engineer coming why not wait. Checked to make sure i was under contract.....no she said.

came off phone found another router line still the same so phoned back and asked to cancel my sky

Was told I couldnt cancel my sky as I was under contract. I told them I wasnt, explained everything. Sorry they said my computer says you are. I said I`ve never signed anything.....they said they issued a welcome pack to me.....I`ve never received a welcome pack....I then asked to speak to a manager. He said the same. and as its 10 to 8 he`d have to ring back tomorrow. :mad:

So my question is where do I stand?

I thought if I put it on here one of you guys would be able to help me....thanks in advance for that

Currently my internet is running at 1.2, and my Tv dont record, or do anything just a basis subscription
