Chip in glass

We have a log burning stove and cleaning the glass this morning I noticed a small chip on the glass.
Is it still safe to light the fire, I'm worried that it might explode or some thing.
Hope some one can give me a sensible answer.

Personally I would light the fire.......I don't think it will explode !!
But I would get it replaced ASAP.
If you go to your local glass merchants ( or ring them ) you will find that the glass will be a lot cheaper than buying it from the stove manufacturer.
Just tell them what you want it for.
Some of the stove spare part suppliers are having a laugh with their prices.0 -
It's ceramic glass that you want. I would continue to use it until you get a replacement sourced. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0
