Tesco Clubcard points - unexpected balance?

Received a knock at the door this morning...'twas the postman with a parcel from Mum's Choice!
Heart pounding, I opened it to find (drum roll)...a bottle of Top-to-Toe baby wash. I wonder if this has something to do with the blip?
Now I'm not saying that Tesco are a little error prone, but the accompanying letter reads:

'You have been selected to try Top-to-Toe baby wash...in this package you'll find wipes to test. Once you've finished testing the nappies...?!?!

I phoned them this morning and they didn't seem to know what it was "I've spoken to my team leader and we think it was a competition" they are going to look into it and email me

Mine's the same, 3 random amounts over £4000 all dated 22nd November. Anyone else queried it? If so what did they say? It's not even a round figure to think it was a competition win....

Well, that's the end of that then...now that they're aware, expect the points to vanish.

Yep...mine have vanished too. How nice of them. No explanation for recieving them & none for removing them. Fantastic customer service from Tesco......as usual.....well done.

i queried them because i didn't earn them so to keep them and spend them wouldn't be right. If £50 turned up in my bank account I would have done the same thing. I'm sorry if I've upset everyone but I was just trying to be honest with them

I raised a query online after the points vanished.
Tesco have now emailed me three times to say they've tried to call me about it...strange because I've been in all day and the phone hasn't rung.
Poor show.
