Evening all
Julie - have a fab trip, hope the wedding goes well
Judi/Mrs MH/Floss - I am on Twitter too, slightly addicted to it! MMH and Floss I have followed you, Judi (or anyone else) if you want my Twitter name PM me - it's my RL name so don't want to put it on here (even though most of you probably know what it is :rotfl:)
Brrr cold here today. Today work kids did the Santa's Grotto event. We saw 200 children in 2 schools. Whilst the schoolchildren really enjoyed, I must say I was very disappointed in my work kids. They just stood there and did not interact with the children
Out of 8, only 2 took part properly- Santa and an elf. whilst I expected them to start off shy, I thought they would get into the spirit. But they couldn't even be bothered to smile! I told them I was very disappointed in them, and not to bother turning up tomorrow unless they take part properly.
I'm off to cinema tonight, free tickets to see Pitch Perfect. Taking my friend who needs cheering up cos her dog died on weekend
OS wise - WM just about to finish, packed lunch made.
Have a good evening all

Afternoon all
Work today, busy as usual, at least hubby only had to work 8 hours unlike y'day when he worked 15 hours.
Nearly finished my Christmas shopping, I don't buy much as I'm really tight, lol.
DD's are popping over tonight, it will be good to catch up.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester

Hi all.
Just begining to surface after a crazy week. Must now start to think about Christmas seriously. For the past few days I've been out or madly typing/cooking/making endless cups of coffee/ listening to tales of woe and making sympathetic noises while attempting sideways glances at my watch in desperation.
Hence the house is a tip, and a rather grubby tip at that.
I'll spend tomorrow getting the Rev ready for hospital and her operation on Thursday - they haven't cancelled it yet so fingers crossed it actually happens this time. Thurs we leave for the hospital at 6.30am and I will probably be there most of the day as I'd like to be there when she comes round. Friday I may get to do something about the house and/or Christmas.
Tru: thak you again for the carols. It's the only thing that made me feel even remotely interested in Christmas.
Judi: don't take on anything that is going to stress you. Things will happen without you getting too involved. Hard, I know but please look after yourself first.
Fuddle: How is that bad chest - you take care. You've a really stressful time coming up and you need all your strength. xI believe that friends are quiet angels

Just a late sign in from me. Arrived OK at Bordeaux, last couple of hours was heavy rain, and that was a bit dire as French motorways, have no lights and no cats eyes, and white lines which disappear when it rains, as the water does not run off fast.:eek:
Skye never complained at all. When we took her for her checkup for the Pet Passport, he found she has Conjunctivitis and an ear infection in one ear, now we have drops, bad Mummy, but I didn't know she has not been bothered.
Tomorrow Maidstone. And then Thursday Afternoon Tennis with DS. http://www.royalalberthall.com/tickets/statoil-masters-tennis/default.aspx
My birthday pressie from him, DS is Skye sitting!,:o

Oh the film was so funny! Way better then I expected it to be, so funny. Just a cheesey chick flick really, but I enjoyed.
And on my way home I needed to pop to shops for some tomatoes, and got 1 x Brie, 1 x danish blue, 1 x lettuce, 1 x cauli, 1 x bag of rocket, and bag of rolls (3 x ciabattas, 3 x crusty white).......all at 9p each!!! Bargain!! :j
