Turned the Storage Heaters off ?
What are you useing for heating ? If it's plug-in Electric heaters of any knd it will cost serious money

Check that the Daytime booster switch on the Immersion Heater has not been left on 24/7

If you have turned the cheapest form of electric heating off (aka storage heaters), what are you using to keep warm?

Are the meter readings the correct way around? Forget tv's laptops etc that type of use can only be from electric heating or water heating.

If you have E7 and storage heaters installed, they are there for a reason-so use them.
Using panel heaters on peak rate E7 will cost approx 350% more!
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

If you really are on an e10 tariff and not e7, then that is one problem. Every e10 (and similar) tariff I've seen has been a real ripoff with expensive rates. I think your water should come on twice per 24hours with e10

Could you post your actual tariff name, and cost/unit and times of the various bands? I suspect you could save quite a bit by simply switching to an e7 tariff, where at least you have a wideish choice of suppliers.

As others have said, if you are using full priced heating via panel heaters for example (as opposed to storage heaters on a cheaper rate), then obvioulsy you'll have bills of the level you are getting.

    How many have you seen?

They are often not available to new applicants (other than where someone moves into a property already supplied on this type of tariff) and this is part of the reason you will not find them listed on any comparison site.

Actually they tend to be very competitively priced ;)

Ever heard the term 'burning the midnight oil'?

Why have you turned off your storage heaters, probably the cheapest form of heating available to you.

Actually, I'd rather wait till the op posts the rates rather than take your word for it.

They are not 'competitively' price, because there is little or no competition.

But anyhow, perhaps you could post the rates for the e10 tariffs you know are competitively price? Tia.

Is there a point or message or anything else in the above post?

If you have any comments on my posts, could you please state them instead of cryptic hieroglyphs

I too have storage heaters (on Economy 7) and I can assure you that they are expensive and not fit for purpose. I instead use a 2kW oil-filled radiator and, even though it is obviously run on the higher tariff, it works out a lot cheaper with a lot more heat.

Maybe something's amiss in my flat....
