Damn you VM I waas going to resist this challenge but you've lured me in :)

Update sent through, target of £34,548 (normal reduction, OP's and increase in savings). Easily achievable. Not remotely optomistic. Will be fine as long as I don't have any holidays, buy any clothes, have a life, eat, drink etc _pale_.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort
    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

    Hi

Can I join? Not worried about number! We took our our mortage last year (a year today infact!) and have spent the year savings up money into two ISAs as our emergency fund. At the end of this month we'll have them both full so that means onto the next stage which is to overpay! We have 4 years left on our fix and we can overpay by up to 10% of our balance (although we won't pay anywhere near that much!)

Aim is £6000 (or £500 a month) and our mortgage summary for the year is due in the next few weeks so I can figure out what our starting balance is :)
