Calfuray - You only need to update when you make an op. Some forget to update every time so just do it when they remember. Others make several small ops in a month and update regularly.
Updating can be done either on this thread, via the update form (link also in first post) or if you prefer via PM.

Can I be in for 2013?!

No idea what my number is in 2012, but for 2013 I aim to overpay by £26,000! Big one for me this year! But I've been saving for when the fixed rate is up in April.

    Hi pollyanna24,

You are No.126 on the MFW2012 challenge though I haven't had an update through since January. Looking at your sig though it looks like you have been making excellent progress and achieved your target, congratulations. I'll update the spreadsheet for 2012 accordingly.

    All the best,

    I finally have a target for 2013.

    £41,657.47

That's what I have left to pay. The figure will include all normal payments and overpayments.

Our first proper year of overpaying (2011) we managed £55,000
This year we came in slightly under our revised target of £30,000 (our original target was £20,000 by August).
    We managed to OP £28,725

This year I plan to pay off the mortgage in full. I will, however, cheat  if I come in slightly short as I have some savings that I could raid!!!! The mortgage will be G-O-N-E by the end of 2013 :D
