No 48 here, May OP of £4694 just sent through on googledocs. If only I could manage that every month :T.
Well done everyone - as young Mr Grace would have said 'you've all done very well' :j.A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Happy to report I am flying on my mortgage repayments.....so far this yr, £12500..... bringing my mortgage to £79900, but so far to go. Not giving up and determined to keep up pace of payments.
Thanks for thread, and thanks to site for showing me the light!0 -
Hi VoucherMan,
#111 with June OP of £925 thanks to lovely BIL who yesterday repaid last £500 of the money he borrowed from DH some years back! Still doesn't look very impressive compared to some of the 4 and 5 figure OP's on this site at the moment though, there are some amazing efforts going on.#21 Save £12k in 2025 £16977.35/£20000

Hello, sorry if this is a bit of dopey question (I don't usually manage to keep up with this thread) but OH has not yet made a payment for May. When he gets around to it can it still go into my May payment even though it will be done in June? Thanks
BTW - having just flicked through the last few posts, there are some really impressive OPs going on!!!1% at a time no. 40. £8000 (For dream family holiday) 94/100

Right, we are now at the end of our fixed rate mortgage and have the money to pay off the mortgage.
Why then am I too scared to take the plunge?
Does anyone know if I should ring the mortgage company and ask how much the final payment is or do I just go with the amount on the online mortgage statement?Grocery Challenge Feb 16 £346 /4000 -
I think that most mortgage providers the online amount should be up to date but if you want peace of mind then give them a quick call
What a great position to be in!!congrats

My, there is some impressive OP's going on recently! Keep it up :T
Pawlala - WOW, only 7 payments left till your MF, well done!.
Are/have you been taking the OP's and using them to reduce your monthly payments or to reduce your term? Just interested as we may stop doing the term and switch to reducing it off monthly payments as its that side of the mortgage that hammers us (Were only 3yrs in so high payments with interest). If we keep going like we are then in 5yrs our monthly payments will be lowered from £626 to £433, then maybe we could lower our working hours!
Anyway, interested to see your reply. Well done again! x
To everyone else, your doing so well! If your starting out, half way through, or nearly there.... don't ever give up.
