Last month's total ended up quite a bit higher after a few late additions. This month looks like setting a new monthly record for the MFW challenge after TwinnyD cleared her mortgage. Just under £1500 short of the figure from January last year.

Another 5-figure month for May, I hereby reduced my mortgage by £10329.84

So far this year I have reduced my monthly mortgage bill from ~£330 to ~£150. Council tax will soon become my biggest outgoing, ironically the same month we went to fortnightly collections.

morning, my usual payment and overpayment of £590.63 please. We are selling our house and buying a new money pit next month, so not making any additional overpayments at the moment, but saving up in a separate savings account for moving expenses instead. total is now 51,686.78 ( but going to increase by quite a bit shortly).
