Another healthy round of overpayments logged.
toerag33, pollyanna24, Dot Common, saver03, Anna Glypta , elantan, mortgage destroyer, Matt The Chippy, Marie27lol, Caeraugirl, Southernman, QB Wolf, lulabelle1 and Mrsyallop all added along with 2 each from pammyj74 & kirstypark
Also one more for February - pollyanna24.
Good to see that 1/3 of those down for this year's challenge have the seemingly much sought after 'Ahead of Schedule' label. Hopefully I'll be able to join later in the year.

i have no doubt you will voucher man, i seem to have noticed that for people paying off there is no pattern that everyone follows, for some its little and often for others its more and less often and for some its huge but maybe periodically
at the end of the day what matters is that we are managing and doing the best we can, i worked out the other day how much i am saving a year due to my overpayments to date, it was a very good feeling0 -

That's why I hope no-one takes too much notice of whether they're ahead, behind or on target. It can never be more than a rough guide, but if it encourages people to make more ops then it can't be bad.

Exactly. We all get hit by bills, both expected and unexpected, and some months are easier than others. I've found that the "ahead of target" target is unexpectedly pushing me a little more though :T so, for example, this weekend, is no shopping and living out of store cupboards to make sure I maximised my OP :A
It was payday yesterday :j, and I pulled together a £900 OP :j, and then logged onto a savings account to find interest had been applied, so a further £154 OP - total £1054! Whoo hoo! :rotfl:
Hoping to manage to be equally as good in April....I only have 7 more payments until I'm out of my fixed rate and can pay off the balance at the end of Oct, but hey, whose counting...!:p
Hope you're all keeping safe and warm. I'm staying in my PJs in front of the fire today. Bliss

Hi VoucherMan
toerag33 - £3200.00 overpaid! Cannot believe what has been achieved so far. The last 2 mornings I have woken and realised we have less than 6 years left now. My mortgage should have finished when I was 70 yrs old. Despite not having much faith in my ability to achieve it - I was aiming for completion before I was 65 but that is now blown out the water too. We are still juggling things so may have more to add in the next 2 months once the kitchen is in. Time to look at the finances then. None of this was doable without the support from here - reading the diaries is so inspirational.
Kind regards

Okay, so when you try and open locoblade's, what is the error that happens? Does it have an error box saying it cannot open, does nothing happen on click, etc etc? If you open an Excel document from your old laptop, does it only have it in read-only mode, and doesn't let you edit? What happens if you right-click and select open with numbers?
I've got locoblade's with my details input, so if we can get something working I can blank it, just leave the formulae and send it.
Thank-you. I would appreciate your help. I can't work out how to send a PM to explain why I haven't replied to you. Life a little hectic / traumatic as we are in the process of moving an elderly relative into care. Please bear with me and I will be in touch.
Many thanks

Hey toerag, that's not a problem, hope everything's okay, or as good as it can be.
To send a private message, just hover your mouse over my username on a post, it'll turn orange, then click, and a drop down menu will appear. 'Send a private message' is second option.
I'm always hovering around a computer, so feel free to send me a message anytime, it shouldn't be more than 24 hours til I reply. (How sad is that?)
