    #79 checking in! :)

February overpayment total is £2132.47, taking my 2013 total to £6132.27. Spreadsheet has already been updated, and I am now 8.64% towards my £71,000 target. I'm slightly behind for this time in the year but I put that down to only being able to overpay 10% of the total because of early repayment charges. No way the bank is getting any more money out of me than they absolutely have to!!! :rotfl:

March should see a bond mature, which will almost double my tally for 2013. Also, my fixed rate will be coming to an end so I will not have any ERC's for the rest of the year. My new interest rate has already appeared on my online banking, and although it is a little higher than the fixed, I am now paying £30 interest less than I was at the start of January :money:

Keep up the good work everyone. thanks to VoucherMan for this month's spreadsheet work! :D

Another update as everyone's been so busy.

A few more February ops added from Barny1979, icklehelen, Poppycat1 and catslovelycats.

On to March with payments added from pammyj74, lighthousescotland, bownyboy, Calfuray, Barny1979, elantan, darcyboo, black taxi and theyorkbrood

elantan you're welcome to change your target. The more, the better. :) Just let me know here on via the Googledoc and I'll amend it.

    We have another new starter

cianalas added at # 117. Please let me know if you'd like any ops adding for January or February.

With cianalas' target added (is that the correct figure for this year cianalas?) that takes the overall target to over £1,000,000 :T
  • Just sent my update via the form.

Only £231 this month, which is £81 above my standing order. Times are tough at the moment as I am 6 months into maternity leave, with another 6 months to go! I'm hoping to pull it back at the tail end of the year.
Slow progress is better than no progress.

Thank you so much for adding me Voucher Man - I would like to try to overpay a total of £10000 this year if possible (so take my total down to £36600) - I have misread the form, so sorry. I wish I could pay £36600 this year but sadly it is likely that DH will lose his job in July so I might not even make the £10000 but will aim high and give it a go! I phoned my mortgage provider before I posted this so this is the most up to date info so nothing else to add at the moment.
