On the mortgage deal I have, you can only make 1 overpayment in January each year, so have made the most of it and overpaid £10k today.
My fix rate deal ends in October, so wanted to pay off a big chunk to take advantage of 60% LTV rates when I switch. My target this year was to overpay £12k, so hopefully I can pay a bit extra off when remortaging.0 -
