On the mortgage deal I have, you can only make 1 overpayment in January each year, so have made the most of it and overpaid £10k today.

My fix rate deal ends in October, so wanted to pay off a big chunk to take advantage of 60% LTV rates when I switch. My target this year was to overpay £12k, so hopefully I can pay a bit extra off when remortaging.
  • No 15 here. Just made the first overpayment of the year. £500

Still plenty of overpayments coming in as we near the end of the first month.

Barny1979 both your ops are noted. Along with further / first payments from kitjos, pammyj74, kirstypark, elantan, rd07 and elliejay.

Also a few from the Googledoc. Mrsyallop, My Life, Lulabelle1, and a small op from MoneyMission who was determined to make a small payment despite a tough start to the year.

Hi, #73 reporting a further OP of £27.65 (actually made up of 3 small OPs over the last couple of weeks). Think that will be all from me for January, fingers crossed I can keep the momentum going for the rest of the year

    thanks
